Learn to love your emotions

To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment
— Ralph Waldo Emerson; Essays

You often feel stuck in the worry that consumes you. You want to move forward, you desire to just “let it go”, but the truth is, the worry feels deep and strong, and it is hard to know what to do with it. Something in you tells you that you “shouldn’t feel worried”. Or maybe it is the people around you. You know they care about you and want the best for you, but they don’t understand just how real it all is. They say to “just stop worrying”, to let it go, or that you are “too sensitive”.

You find yourself overthinking and questioning every decision you make. The idea of trusting yourself feels foreign and impossible. It is hard to take steps forward in work or in life when the voice in your head is filled with worry and doubt. You are exhausted from giving it your all. You help those around you with little regard for the rest and care that you need for yourself. Feeling confident in your decisions and secure in the circumstances around you feels like a distant goal with a ton of obstacles in the way.

I work with clients that feel this same way. They are overwhelmed and looking for change. They care so deeply, and often get lost in the emotion of it all. They are sensitive, and they have learned to believe that their sensitivity is “too much”.

My clients are strong. Their sensitivity is valuable, and they are a gift to those around them. My clients are brave. They are ready to feel confidence and trust in who they are.

If you are ready to move from overwhelm to steadiness, from being flooded by your emotions to enjoying the strength that comes from feeling deeply, then you are in the right place. Change is possible, and I am ready to journey through that change process with you.
